These shows do not necessarily align themselves with the real life shows due to SIM limitations. All Shows will follow a nearly identical classlist. We also do not allow classes by "bloodline group" or "strain". Any purebred Arabian horse or Half Arabian horse, may compete in AHA shows. We recommend no more than 5 to 6 classes of similar type per horse per show. Please use good judgment when entering. If we have to warn you about this more than three times, you face suspension and fines.
The AHA follows a no-refund policy for all it's events and shows. The AHA encourages its members to have shows which may be approved by the AHA. Jr. Horses are ages four to six, only these horses may enter Jr.Horse Classes.
Futurity horses are age three only. A horse may not enter futurity and jr horse classes. It may enter
open classes.
Horses may only enter either Country English Pleasure or English Pleasure. This is applicable for
the driving classes as well. They may not cross enter. A horse may NOT enter Country English
Pleasure and Park classes. (A English pleasure horse may enter both park and english pleasure).
Horses may enter Country English Pleasure and Country Pleasure Driving or English Pleasure and
English Pleasure Driving.
Formal combination is for park horses only. Informal combination is for english pleasure horses only.
Sporthorses are horses that are shown in: Hunters, Eventing, Jumpers or Dressage only.
Horses may enter two consecutive levels of dressage. I.e. First and Second Level, Not first and third.
In Halter classes:
Fillies & Colts are weanling to three years old. Junior Mares & Stallions are three to six years old. Senior Mares & Stallions are seven years old and older.
In Performance:
Horses must be at least three years old to show under saddle. Futurity Horses are Three Years Old
Junior Horses are four to six years old. Any horse over six years will enter open classes. .
Article III - Incentives & Programs
The AHA 20 AHA points to each stallion that is gelded. MUST TELL US! -Legion of Honour Program
The AHA Legion Program Titles: 200-349 AHA Points-Legion Of Merit- + 350-475 AHA Points-Legion Of Honour- ++ 476-700 AHA Points-Legion Of Supreme Honour- +/ 701-900 AHA Points-Legion Of Supreme Merit- +// 901-1350 AHA Points-Legion Of Excellence- +++ 1351-3000 AHA Points-Legion Of Masters- ++++ For Each 1000 Points Over 3000, one slash may be added.
Article IV - National Level Showing & Qualifications
You MUST qualify to go.
International Level Showing & Qualifications
- Salon du Cheval is a halter show for mares and stallions only.
Salon du Cheval qualification is only through European Championships or Nationals.
(Your horse must place Top Ten or higher at either show)
Horses winning at Scottsdale, Pacific Slopes & the US Nationals win the Triple Crown in that class.
They must be Champion consistently in i.e.: Country English Pleasure at Pacific Slopes, Scottsdale & The Nationals to qualify
None of this is real - it all relates to a Equine Eternity.
